Spend some time exploring the lake, or row your way down Orren Creek.  Be still and float and let the birds in the marsh bustle around, or watch the beavers float on their backs and eat lily pads.  Watch a mom and baby ducks make their way across the lake.

If you have already reserved your stay with us and would like to add this activity, book now.

Canoe rental $10/hr.  3-peron max. capacity, for our lake only.  All canoes must be back by dusk.  We have oars and some life-jackets available for use.

BOATING
 & FISHING

Bring your rods and go fishing at any of the larger surrounding lakes!  Watch Lake, just moments away is good for Kamloops trout, up to 3 to 5lbs. Trolling is most popular, but lots of fishermen fly fish as well. Because of the speed limit of 8km/hr the lake is nice and quiet and float tubing works well. There is also fishing in many nearby lakes. Row boats are available either for fishing or just exploring the lake at Watch Lake Lodge.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Bring your mountain bike and explore.

 4X4ING
AND ATVING

Bring your ATV and explore any of the numerous trails in the area, or let us book you an ATV tour with an area expert and ATV rental.  Rentals include quad, helmet, gear and guided tour.

BIRD
WATCHING
          STAR GAZING

Truly a star gazers delight here at the Ranch!  On a mountain plateau at 3500 ft above sea level, far from the glow of city lights, on a clear night the sky is filled with the twinkle of celestsial bodies.  At times we have seen shooting stars that seems so close, as if to land at the ranch!

Bring your binoculars and cameras!  It's a Bird Watcher's paradise here in the Cariboo!  With birds of all colours, sizes and songs.  From tiny sweet song birds to owls, hawks and Bald Eagles.  Not to mention the ducks, geese, loons and even swans in the area of late.
