     Rescuing animals and providing them with a forever home can be rewarding and fun!  And we commend those who have opened up their homes to animals in need.  For outdoor animals, there are many things to consider.  In addition to ample space and shelter, and being physically able and available to care for them, they require several ongoing things to keep them healthy and happy.  Proper food, supplements, nail and teeth care, special equipment, vet visits, arrangement for transfers, and maintenance of their homes are some of the things that cost money to maintain.
